The Toyota Sequoia was named for the massive and majestic redwood trees found in California, and it is ready for adventure! Outstanding features like a V8 engine, impressive ground clearance, four-wheel independent suspension, and body-on-frame construction make the Sequoia one of the most capable full-size SUVs on the market today! It offers so much more than that though, like an expansive cabin that can seat up to seven or eight passengers, a high towing capacity, off-roading capabilities, and modern convenience features. The New Exterior Color
The Sequoia TRD Pro model will be available in a new "out of this world" exterior color option for the 2021 model year! Toyota has introduced Lunar Rock and it is nothing short of stunning. Lunar Rock will be replacing the Army Green option in the TRD Pro's color pallet. There are a few other colors offered for the TRD Pro Sequoia. They include Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and Super White.
The New Nightshade Special Edition
Also introduced for the 2021 model year is the Sequoia Nightshade Edition! The sun starts to set earlier in the night and the temperatures start to drop, its the perfect time to jump behind the wheel of the Sequoia Nightshade Edition. Most of the Toyota lineup's Nightshade editions are based on the SE trim levels but in the 2021 model year, the Sequoia Nightshade Edition will be centered around the Limited trim level which comes packed with luxurious features like sinister-looking black exterior trim and black leather-trim seating. This special edition also gains darkened chrome 'Sequoia' badging, fog light surrounds, body moldings, and lower grille. The Nightshade model will also offer both 2WD and 4WD and two color options Magnetic Gray Metallic or Midnight Black Metallic. Drivers can also choose the Blizzard Pear exterior color option for more customization.
The Sequoia is Big on Safety Features
With room to fit the whole family, and then some, the Toyota Sequoia makes safety a priority! In the 2021 model year, every Sequoia model is outfitted with Toyota Safety Sense P. This active safety system includes Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning System, and Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection. The 2021 Sequoia also comes with Toyota's STAR Safety System. This suite of safety features includes Smart Stop Technology brake override, Traction Control, Brake Assist, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Anti-lock Braking System, and Vehicle Stability Control.
