Trim Levels of the 2018 RAV4

In 2018 the Toyota RAV4 is raring to go with a complete list of safety features, tech features, a new trim level, the addition of a Cold Weather package, and a few additional styling elements. If you feel that the RAV4 is the perfect fit for you and are just not sure which trim level you want, or even if you are still just on the fence about whether or not you truly love this vehicle, then this review is for you. Read on to learn which trim level is the best fit for your lifestyle and what makes this utility vehicle just so perfect.

LE Trim:
The LE is the base trim with many standard features that include rear privacy glass, 17-inch steel wheels, a height-adjustable driver seat, a rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, one USB port, an auxiliary audio jack, a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and a reclining second-row seat.

XLE Trim:
With the XLE trim you still get all of the LE features, but you also add a little extra like 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, upgraded interior trim, fog lights, heated mirrors, extending sun visors, and more aggressively bolstered front seats. Additional options on this trim level would include a power-adjustable driver seat and heated front seats.

Adventure Trim:
In 2018, the Adventure trim is all-new. The features included on this trim would be 18-inch black alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped shift knob, all-weather floor mats, fender flares, a slightly raised suspension of 6.5-inches, and a 120-volt household outlet. A Cold Weather package is also available for a heated steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icers, heated front seats, and a power driver seat.

SE Trim: 
This trim is fairly similar to the Adventure trim with its styling and ground clearance, but overall these two trims are quite different. The SE comes with features like automatic LED headlights, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, heated front seats, a SofTex simulated leather upholstery, sportier suspension tuning, 18-inch silver alloy wheels, and a power driver seat with lumbar adjustment. This trim also has the choice of an Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation package.

Limited Trim:
The Limited then goes back to the XLE standards and adds the equipment upgrades of the Adventure and SE. On top of this, the Limited brings in 18-inch wheels, a height-adjustable power liftgate, chrome exterior trim, a 7-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, driver-seat memory functions, rear cross traffic warning, keyless ignition and entry, blind spot monitoring, and the Entune Audio Plus with Connected Navigation package.

Platinum Trim:
The Platinum trim tops everything off with features like a heated steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, fancier exterior trim, a 360-degree parking camera, a hands-free liftgate, an 11-speaker JBL sound system, a heated steering wheel, all of the packages, and so much more.
