Trim Levels of the 2020 Toyota Corolla

L 

The L, as with the LE and XLE, comes with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 139 horsepower and 126 lb-ft of torque paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive. Standard features for the L include 15-inch wheels, LED headlights, automatic high beams, air conditioning, four-way manually adjustable front seats, and adaptive cruise control. Also coming with the L is Toyota's Safety Connect emergency communications and some terrific tech equipment such as Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen with a USB port and Apple CarPlay. The L also packs in a ton of advanced safety features including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a traffic sign reader.    

LE 

Stepping up to the LE trims gets you 16-inch wheels, heated mirrors, remote keyless entry, upgraded upholstery, automatic climate control, a rear-seat center armrest, front and rear cupholders, and an additional USB charge port.   

SE 

The SE is the sportiest of all the trims, and it comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, upgraded headlights, sporty exterior treatments, sport front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Also coming standard for the SE is a 2.0-liter engine with 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a specialized CVT automatic transmission with paddle shifters with the option of a six-speed manual transmission. When you go with the manual transmission, you'll also get keyless entry and ignition, selectable drive modes, and a sunroof.   

XLE 

While the XLE provides you with the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, you do get the option of the 2.0-liter. Also coming standard are 16-inch alloy wheels, selectable drive modes, a virtual instrument panel, simulated-leather upholstery, heated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, satellite radio, a larger 8-inch touchscreen.     

XSE 

The top-level XSE combines the features of the SE and the XLE while adding 18-inch wheels and power-adjustable seats, adaptive headlights, and interior ambient lighting. The XSE also comes standard with the powerful 2.0-liter engine.
